W9-Generated Ladder
I spent quite a long time thinking about what I could do with generative design. My first idea was a bunk bed. It needs to hold a heavy load, and trains with double-deck sleeping beds could benefit from a lighter-weight version of this. However, the result wasn’t that interesting.
Then I thought about making a ladder, which is always quite heavy to carry.
I liked the organic form the machine came up with. Those supporting arms remind me of tree branches.
