W8-Sculpting: Wolf

I wasn't a big fan of sculpting after class last week. I felt I had less control of the object and didn't understand how to get the forms I wanted. Tried to convince me with an open mind, I decided to make a wolf head with a cartoon sketch I found online.

I was following the sketch's contour at the beginning and slowly start adding more lines, pushing and pulling the blob. I had a hard time making the lips and eyes, as well as the tip of the nose. After I had a wolf head's general shape, I turned the canvas off and went freehand. Working on top of the base shape, I felt more room for creativity and control. While maintaining the overall form, I added some of my design into the sculpture.

( I don’t hate it as much now :D )
