W3-Paint brush (hurry up and paint)
My childhood experience of Chinese painting inspires the painting application I made this week. As a water-based media, paintbrush fades as you draw. So there's a natural gradient effect in the making of a Chinese painting. My code mimics a similar outcome. The paintbrush shrinks overs, mimicking putting down the brush and paint then slowly releasing the paintbrush. The color fades as you paint, and I twisted the fading effect slightly by making the fade depend on the stroke's direction.
Since the user had no control of the shrinking and fading, they have to utilize every second they have to paint as they go, leaving them no room for thinking. It encourages users to paint without thinking but purely follows their feelings.
